They were (not) five

They are very passionate about technology. They are seekers, navigators, desirous to go beyond the boundaries of the imagination. They are talented students at various universities in Tirana, where they study Computer Science, Electronic and Digital Communication Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Finance etc.

They are already very excited because they have been declared winners of the first edition of the Vodafone Disruption Camp, which aimed at discovering new talents in technology and innovation. Klivia Qela, Kei Hysi, Frensis Prepapuca, Erges Mema and Ervin Ndoka were the top five among the 25 young people who participated in this activity, where for three consecutive days different training and exercises were held and new ideas were exchanged, led by technology experts and managers of Vodafone Albania, but also by international mentors.

“Young people need support, because I’m sure their minds are endowed with endless ideas and have wonderful skills, they just have to highlight them”, said one of the winners, Kei Hysi, adding that Vodafone Disruption Camp was a different experience, which she will remember for a long time, not because she was part of the winning team, but because during this experience she gained new knowledge and new friends.

For Erges Mema, Vodafone Disruption Camp was an opportunity where through intensive work and continuous support from professionals, he gained personal and professional growth, sharing ideas and human experiences. Ervin Ndoka said that this meeting was a very challenging experience, where he learned a lot, but most of all realized that Albanian youth have a lot of potential.

“After this experience, I can say with full conviction to all young people not to lose these kinds of opportunities, where they can show their true potential.” For all these reasons, as Frensis Prepapuca says, this event should be held all the time, because this opportunity must be given to many other young people.

Klivia Qela also expresses the same desire: “I hope that this event will be repeated and enable other young people to show their ideas and energies and to experience the same emotions as us.

So, are you ready?” Ready! Because the Vodafone Disruption Camps will continue to discover and attract new motivated young people who have the potential and the talent to be part of Vodafone’s vision for the future.
