App Auto Updates? Choose the time when yourself!
Android: Google Play > Settings> General > Auto-update apps > Make sure that Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only is ON.

WhatsApp & Viber Auto Download
Open WhatsApp > Menu > Settings > Chat Settings> Media auto-download > MAke sure to select "auto-update when connected on Wi-Fi" for images, audios, videos
As well, you can disable automatic image/video download on Viber:
Open Viber > Menu> Settings > Media > Auto download over Wi-Fi ON
SnapChat Travel Mode
Open Snapchat and go to Settings> Account Settings -> Manage Preferences-> Choose Travel Mode
Wi-Fi Assist
In case you have and iOS 9 downloaded on your phone, you should know that this version automatically downloads and installs an option called WiFi Assist, that consumes intenet units from your bundle, even when you're connected to WiFi.
To disable Wi-Fi Assist:
Settings > Mobile Data > Wi-Fi Assist OFF
Use Google Maps Offline
After finding the address/area you want, there are two ways to save it offline:
Open Google Maps and search for an address. The button Voice, Ok Maps gives you the option to download the map.
Set a limit! You will be notified when you reach it.
If you have a smartphone runninng on android 4.0+, you can control your internet usage and set alarms and limits to your bundle consume.
Go to Settings >Data usage > Set mobile data limit > ON
You will be shown a graphic that represents the internet usage for a set period. Click on the option "Set mobile data limit" to set the amount of internet that you want to set as a limit. This way you will be notified when you're close to the line.
Remember to buy an internet bundle. It's always a good idea!
