Roaming Tips

In this section you can find valuable tips and instructions during your stay abroad:
 

- For each destination, you can refer to the detailed information found on the official Vodafone Roaming website or in My Vodafone App regarding the available bundles or the recommended partner network.

- We recommend manual selection of the partner network from the mobile device, to ensure the selection of the right network and avoid charging by non-partner operators.

For Prepaid and Hybrid/Next customers:

 

- Incoming Voice Minutes and Incoming SMS-es are valid from all national and international operators.

- The initial duration for the consumption of voice minutes within the bundle is 30 seconds. Consumption is then charged per second (30+1).

- Internet is charged for every 10KB.

- Once the bundle is consumed, the standard Roaming prices will be applied.

- The duration of the bundle starts in the exact moment the bundle is activated.

- You cannot have the Daily Trip, Travel Days and Travel Pack bundles active on your account at the same time.

- You can simultaneously have the Travel Data roaming bundle and one of the other roaming bundles active on your account.

- You will be notified by SMS when you consume 80% of the voice minutes or MB included in the bundle, as well as for the consumption of all included units. You will also be notified 24 hours prior regarding bundle expiration and also when the bundle expires.

- To check the balance of roaming bundles, enter My Vodafone app or send a free blank SMS to 131.

- The limit of roaming bundles that can be activated per month is 10.

- For all customers who have a Next/Next+ tariff plan available, the activation of a Roaming bundle can be done through top-up or by paying it on the next generated bill in the following month.

 

For Postpaid and Unlimited/ Unlimited+ customers:

 

- All Postpaid customers can use their tariff plan abroad the same way as in home by using the respective roaming daily fee according to the tariff plan. To enjoy the personalized information experience, enter My Vodafone app - Roaming section.

- Before you travel, get the necessary information in My Vodafone app regarding the Travel Guide and daily fee that applies to the chosen destination.

- For balance check, enter My Vodafone App or send a free of charge SMS with text "A" to 145.

- You will be notified by SMS when you consume 80% of voice components or data included in your tariff plan, as well as for the consumption of all units.

- Additional Internet or Refill 4G bundles are not valid in Roaming.
