Vodafone responds to emergency created by forest fires around Albania.

Free communication for firefighters in frontline. 

The heat of this summer season has put countries such as Turkey, Greece, Albania, Kosovo etc in emergency situation with wild fires alongside their territories. For many days, firefighters are in frontline with the dangerous fires around Albania, trying to put them under control and mitigate the risk of expansion in populated areas. In these circumstances, Vodafone Albania has taken immediate actions to support with communication the heroes in frontline to this mission. All firefighters who are Vodafone customers will benefit free of charge communication for the entire month of August, keeping them connected and with worry free communication during their heroic mission. Vodafone is  monitoring the situation and in close contact with the authorities with the main focus to provide support and assistance during this emergency situation.
